I’m Chris, one of the co-founders of CrossFit Basingstoke. I have a long history working in the fitness industry and years of experience in personal training dating back to 1999. Since then I’ve dedicated my career to helping people achieve better results.
Being a coach at CrossFit Basingstoke allows me to assist our community to constantly progress and perform better than ever before. Whether that means shaving a few seconds off a benchmark WOD, scaling a WOD closer to the RX, hitting a new personal best in a heavy lift or simply executing a skill they previously couldn’t do. There is no better feeling than seeing people achieve the seemingly unachievable! You can’t beat it!
Of course, I have to practise what I preach! I’m a strong believer in the CrossFit lifestyle which means, like our members, I train according to the daily WODs. In order to enhance this training as far as possible I tailor my nutrition so that I am eating to perform. I love to put myself to the test and enter CrossFit competitions throughout the year.
